In ancient times, frankincense was worth more than gold. It was burned in temples, traded in the desert and transported by caravans. The Three Sages of the East once brought it back as a gift. Ethanol is cheaper, but the residue needs to be finely processed to meet the specifications.

Filtration and concentration - The extract is filtered to remove solids and then concentrated into a thick paste. This step can recover most of the solvent, thereby controlling costs.

Column chromatography purification - passing thick pastes through chromatographic columns. In this step, we extract frankinic acid and wash away the resin and gum. The AKBA content is increased in this step.

Drying and grinding - The purified solution is concentrated again and then made into fine powder through spray drying or vacuum drying. It can be used immediately.
